I got some great advice from you guys in my last thread, but unfortunately the stone was not eye clean. I was going to get another diamond from James Allen, when I found a diamond from BGD. I thought that BGD was much more expensive because they sold super-ideals, but this one is the same price as a JA non-true hearts with similar specs.

It is smaller than the stone I wanted before, but then I realized I would be paying an extra 50% in price for a mere .25 carats extra. Plus this one is eye clean.

Here is the idealscope. Does it look like an H&A? are the arrow shafts supposed to be spaced apart like this?

I'm probably going to get this set in BGD's tiffany six prong. Anyone have any feedback re: that setting?

Looks good to me.

It looks excellent, do you have the hearts image too please?

Thanks for the feedback. Here is the hearts image. I asked Lesley about the four dots. Don''t seem to match up with the inclusions on the report. Any thoughts as to what they are and if they are visible in regular viewing conditions?

And what did she say?

My guess would be possible reflection of inclusion.

Looks good!

should not be. Hearts image is viewed from the pavilion. These looks like inclusion reflection near the pavilion. Remember, clarity grading is based on table view.

I agree with Ellen, probably just small inclusion/s reflecting which isn't a problem, as to whether they are visible in reality ask Lesley, she will be honest with you. The hearts image looks great!

Thanks guys. Lesley and Brian confirmed that it is a white (invisible) inclusion that has been reflected a few times. I''m going to buy this one! Hope the size is ok...

Good luck. :)

It will be better than ok. This is still a very nice size stone, I''m guessing at around a 1.3ish? It will look very substantial, and gorgeous!

As for the setting, a classic Tiffany style setting is always a great way to go, I''m sure she would love it. Is there any other style you think she would like more? Brian and Lesley can make just about anything you like.

Thanks Ellen! You''ve been such a great help through this whole process. It is a 1.22 ct. She has small hands (4.75 I think -- have to double check). So hopefully it looks ok. I figured BGD has a good upgrade and return policies, so if it is too small, I can always return immediately or upgrade down the line.

As for what she likes, we haven''t really talked about it. She''s mentioned things she dislikes, e.g., trillion side stones so I stayed away from those. I think she will appreciate the simple elegance of the tiffany setting.

I think she will too. And honestly, on her teeny finger, this is going to look just right!
