Would you trust a jeweler to choose the diamond for you? Should I ask for an ASET image?

Who are most trustworthy jewelers for larger three stone rings (I like pear or trillian side stones rather than rounds)?

Thank you!!

Hi Christie,
I think it really depends on the Jeweler.
Are you thinking of working with a local jeweler or a PS vendor?
I think I'd be comfortable with a PS vendor providing me with several options, and me getting the final say on which one.
I probably wouldn't trust a local jeweler unless I knew we had the same standards for cut quality.

ASETs are definitely helpful, especially for fancy shapes, but for a round brilliant (especially for a signature ideal), sometimes an ideal scope image is just as good. The more images the better, though.

I would definitely prefer a PS vendor/buying online

Depends on the jeweller. If it is a P/S recommended one then yes, if not then no.

I would trust Wink, Brian Gavin , Good Old Gold, and Whiteflash.
