I think it really depends on the Jeweler.
Are you thinking of working with a local jeweler or a PS vendor?
I think I'd be comfortable with a PS vendor providing me with several options, and me getting the final say on which one.
I probably wouldn't trust a local jeweler unless I knew we had the same standards for cut quality.
ASETs are definitely helpful, especially for fancy shapes, but for a round brilliant (especially for a signature ideal), sometimes an ideal scope image is just as good. The more images the better, though.
