Surely I am not the only person to notice that President Trump has a fear of women's blood? First it was Megyn Kelly's blood...http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/08/politics/donald-trump-cnn-megyn-kelly-comment/index.html
Now it is Mika Brzezinski's. He is quite squeamish about women's blood and one might wonder why if one were not psychologically informed and aware that men who react this way are afraid that that they will be cut by women. Cut you know where. I think that the president is quite afraid of being castrated by women and compensates by attempting to bully and overpower them. I believe he an abuser of women because is so afraid of them. This deserves more study. :read:

Thanks, katharath. I never heard that story about Trump allowing Melania to have a baby only on the condition that she "get her body back". I guess I always thought of him as a man who wanted children, whatever else his problems are (and they are legion). Of course, a story is just a story unless it is substantiated. One thing that is substantiated, though, is that he is a misogynist!

I just read this in "The New York Times" on-line.

"Privately, Ms. Brzezinski was stunned by the remarks, telling a close friend on Thursday morning: 'I really don’t need this.' Her father, Zbigniew Brzezinski, a former national security adviser, died in May, and her mother, Emilie Benes Brzezinski, has suffered two heart attacks since he died, according to the friend, who requested anonymity to describe a private conversation.

Ms. Brzezinski was expected to address the incident on-air Friday morning. For now, her only public comment has been a photograph she posted to Twitter of a box of Cheerios, emblazoned with the words, 'Made for Little Hands,' referring to a longstanding insult about Mr. Trump."

I did not know her mother had suffered the heart attacks and I will try to tune into "Morning Joe" in the morning.

I hope she comes out strong. Because it's not just Trump's tweet: we know that horrible act has unleashed a slew of abuse towards Mika that will go on for a while. I hope she can stay strong to not give Trump (and his supporters) the satisfaction.

Hi campaign and presidency, however, have been and will continue to be so damaging for equality and just human development in general that it makes me angry, sad and fearful.
What angers me the most is that this signal of misogyny from the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD seems to encourage pigs all over the world to come out with their views.
Add radicalism of all sorts to the global scheme and this makes me fearful for the future of all women, everywhere.
I can't even believe this is really happening, most days...

It drives me crazy that he still has female supporters. He obviously has a problem with women but we have known that way before he became president. My only hope is we can get back to making progress once we get him and Pence out of office.

I also think there is a lot of truth that his awful remarks don't phase many of his supporters because many of them grew up seeing this type of behavior on a regular basis. It's their normal therefore they don't see it as a problem. I find this the most disturbing. I don't want a future president like the one we have and let's face it, it is a very real possibility.

Did anyone happen to see how he acted with the Irish reporter the other day? If you google Irish reporter Trump it will immediately come up.
 
President Scroob, the emotional retard. Just another dirty old man fool, in my eyes. Whatever he had in his youth, he's certainly lost. Perhaps including his mental faculties.

I saw it and was revolted. It was so crass and demeaning. I guess what can you expect from someone who has spent his life exploiting and profiting off the sexuality of young women. But it's still just gross.

He has serious issues with women, and gives no thought to putting their safety at risk (ask Megyn Kelly). I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with him.
 
I watched the video with the Irish report and immediately thought why doesn't someone speak up and call him on it. And what the heck is wrong with Melania and Ivanka. I would be reading him the riot act.
 
Joe and Mika came out this morning with news that Trump was trying to harass/damage them through the National Enquirer and several of his aides were telling them that they wouldn't run the story(ies?) if they "apologized." Apparently, Joe has receipts, or memos (if you will) he shared with other NBC execs. If true, we're talking blackmail, no?

I think the problem is that all the women in his life are completely financially dependent on him, so can't afford to bear his wrath if they speak up or out. We saw what he did to Ivana - it may have been retracted as part of the divorce settlement, but she did testify to it under oath as being true. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be them.

He needs to just stop. Anything he does regarding this makes him look like a weak insecure man. His advisors should have told him yesterday after his Twitter remarks that he is making himself and those who support him look like idiots. He is not projecting the image of a stronger leader. When are the republicans going to put the country first?

I'm following that story too and it's CRAZY. I have no doubt Trump would do exactly what they're saying he did (he is well known for pulling similar stunts in the past. There's the Salma Hayek story and the tales from writers who have talked about his harassing them YEARS after stories were published, etc...his ties with the Enquirer are well established).

Joe claims to have evidence of it, and he's clearly the more believable one, for obvious reasons (i.e., he doesn't tell easily disproved lies on a near daily basis).

The whole thing with joe/Mika is pathetic. Trump comes off as absolutely pathetic.
 
Between the Irish reporter thing (which is beyond disgusting), and this latest gaffe/blackmail, it just keeps getting worse. He needs to be out of office asap, because at some point soon the damage will be permanent.

He needs to be removed from office. He repeatedly has shown unstable behavior. None of this is amusing. Look at how he handles something as small as a reporter making negative remarks about him. Just imagine how he would handle a real crisis. I can hear Sarah Huckabee Sanders "He really didn't mean to start a nuclear war"
