Agreed; we all know - and the MSM has proven true - they’d just come out moments later with a tsunami of criticism no matter what measures he takes/puts in place. Why give them ammunition to also do it in advance and prepare their talking points only to be regurgitated by all their ‘followers’ and risk the facts being mangled and contribute to further misinformation. Frankly, it’s downright disgusting ... "let no crisis go to waste..."

Would someone's opinion of him change if they knew what was said in the meeting? No. The government bureaucrats are the ones messing this up. The CDC didn't completely change all the employees because Trump was elected.
