I know there are charts around that show the actual diameters/sizes of different diamond carat sizes. I''m wondering if there is something similiar that shows the millimeter widths of bands? I see posts all the time saying that their band is 2mm, 3mm, etc but I''d like to see different widths next to each other.

Thanks!

I would like that as well, I recenty purchased a titanum band for my husband for his birthday and I was unsure what width to get, so i got a ruler, but it didnt really help me alot.

I didn't find a ruler very helpful either.

I did just find this, but it starts at 3mm, and what I really want to see is the 2mm.

Yep, one website, shows the sizes of their wedding bands next to each other. I will head off in search of it!

Thanks, I did see those but I don''t think they aren''t true to size width-wise though, but I''m sure they are proportional to each other.

Ooops! You are right! I misunderstood what you meant. Sorry bout that, and here I was so proud of myself that I found that link in record time. Oh well. Good luck with your hunt. Maybe you can go and check out some jewellers in person?

OMG I just had an idea! Maybe you can go to a hardware store and look at nails or rings, or hose clips, or something like that that has the mm dimensions on them. Stuff like plumbing or electrical parts for example would have to be very accurate with their measurements to fit a range of jobs, so maybe that could give you an idea of widths? Sure, it''s not perfect and you may look like a crazy, but its worth a try maybe?!

if you want real life width of a metallic looking ring, you can try using aluminum foil to make into rings of different widths.

LOL! I'm sure that would be a funny sight in hardware store! I may go to a jewelry store so I can try the widths on, but I don't know if I feel like talking to a salesperson. I would get to look at sparklies though!
