Hello all,

I have just bought a Trio Micropavé Engagedment ring for my girl`s size 5 finger and paired it with a 0.62c H VS2 Excelent Cut.

Anyone has this setting?

What do you think?

I narrowed it down to these:

And eventually thought I wanted a slimmer ring for her small finger that was beautifull, discret and with sparkle.

I hope I made the right choice... still have till tomorrow to change.

Thank all for your comments.

does she plan to wear a wedding band with the ring? if so, the Trio might not be the best choice because it looks like the diamonds would rub up against a band. If you think she would really like this setting you can always get a thin spacer band to wear between the engagement and wedding band.

In response to the Petite Pave suggestion... I once got that exact setting with a ~0.4 ct. pear center stone and was not impressed at all. In order for the Petite Pave setting to work I think one would need a rather large center stone, ~1ct or so. Since your stone isn't quite that size, I think you made an excellent choice with your selection. Please, post pictures when it arrives!! And congratulations :appl:

I like the trio micropave the best.

Felling better about my purchase :)

Any more comments?

I like the trio, it's my fave of the three. The only problem is that you will have to be careful about what kind of wedding band you get, she will most likely need a spacer to prevent damage.

Exactly this! I love the setting you just new to figure out a wedding band arrangement that won't rub and damage the setting.
