Hi, I have the choice between a 1.06 untreated round diamond or a 1.55 treated round diamond. I wanted a bigger diamond but I don't know if getting treated is good. The treated one is cheaper.

What does "treated " mean in this case? Clarity enhanced? Hpht? Other?

I'm not sure. Would any of those be ok to buy? I will try to find out later

Please provide color, clarity, and who is giving you the info. Is it a diamond lab report? Is it a jeweler who is telling you? A gemologist?
What kind of treatment? How much cheaper? Can you share the exact price? Most will tell you to not buy a treated diamond.

All of this. We need much more info to be helpful. In general people recommend against treated diamonds, but it depends. And without any info about cut, price, etc we dont know how to help

I'd buy an untreated smaller diamond.
