Thanks to those of you who voted on my previous poll. Here is my last option. .90 carat total weight set in platinum. K color SI clarity.image_2392.jpg trade this for image_3052.jpg

I like this better than the previous options. But do you absolutely love it? If not, don't do it! Wait until you find something that is so beautiful you can't resist! I see no purpose in trading just for the sake of trading.

The question is will you wear and love the new one more than the old one? If not, don't do it. I don't see one as being more appealing than the other. It's just a personal taste issue. I'd wait until you find something you love and don't need to ask others opinions about the trade. You will just know.

It's really pretty! If you'll wear it more than your current ring, and you really love it I would say to do it.

You say you LOVE your current ring, but don't wear it. Why is that? Does the 2nd ring have features that make it much more wearable?

So I do love my current ring but I don't wear it as much bc it doesn't cover my entire finger and I feel it looks kind of awkward. I'm longing for more finger coverage. The new ring I feel would be more of a statement piece but due to the fact that these rings were made with comfort in mind, I would be able to wear it daily. It is priced at 50 percent more than my current ring, so that is why I'm a little hesitant.

Are you only after finger coverage? Would a larger centre diamond be more wearable? You need to think about not only which one appeals (larger centre diamond versus lots of little stones versus a large statement cocktail ring like the one above) - to you the most but which one is going to be the piece you will wear the most as well....

This. Wait until you find something that you love so much that you don't even consider asking a group on the internet what they think.

The head seems unsupported (very fine shank) it needs another band of gold added to either side or a new thicker shank - then I think you would find it more wearable.

I want to address these comments. The reason I have been posting these polls is bc I've grown to become codependent on RT. I realize most people ask about diamonds, but many come here to post when they are torn between 2 settings. They come here asking strangers for opinions bc irl they might not have jewelry fans in their social circle. My hubby actually suggested that I post these threads bc he thinks that I am being impulsive and has not agreed to any of my choices. So while I do fall in love with almost anything blingy, I don't mind 3 rd opinions. After all, isn't that why most people post on this site?

Diamondseeker, I want to add that I really respect your opinions. You always seem to have constructive advice and always offer good reasons to support it. Thank you!

Hi Nala, I would trade for the ring you posted. I love this style for a right hand ring. Very pretty!

Don't worry! None of us were being insulting. It was a more, you'll know when you know type of thing.

But perhaps you already knew and traded toward something else :naughty: I saw the ring you own and the one you were considering on ebay. Do you have a new ring to share?!

I do like it however, my 80 year old dad just gave a ring like this to his live in girl friend as their committment ring. Sorry. It is pretty. Be sure this is what you want.
