Trading size for fluorescence?

So I''m looking at two J colored stones. One stone is ~8.7mm w/o fluor and the other is ~8.5mm with strong blue fluor. Assuming all else is equal, would you rather have a larger stone or a J with strong blue fluor?

I would. I have a little J with very strong fluorescence, and I love that it looks blue in the sun.

Hi there Jill,
When talking about 0.2 mm - see a metric ruler - I believe there really is no difference. Aside from the flouro., any other factor would be much more important to me. Primarily the cut quality then the clarity to a degree (eye clean is eye clean).
So if we assume all things being equal (price, cut quality & clarity) the question really becomes, do you like/want strong blue or not?

Some others who are well versed in SB effects with J color can give us some better ideas on how it might look. I would be very interested to hear what they have to say about this aspect.

.2mm is noticable, though at that size not particularly. Have you seen SBF in person?
