I''d want to be my sister for a day. She''s in rabbinical school in the Middle East right now.

She has a spirituality and faith that I have never had. I''m perfectly happy with my own beliefs, but I''d love to know what it feels like to have hers.

The day trips she''s been going on out there aren''t too shabby, either.

I would choose my father. Out of every member of my small family, he is the most mysterious.

I''d get to know what his thoughts and experiences were growing up, then attending 4 different colleges, then going back and forth taking care of his family and his country without ever obtaining a degree in 7 years. I''d learn exactly what that was like for him. I''d learn what Vietnam and being intelligence meant to him because he would never share it with his wife or children. I''d learn what figuring out that he had cancer and living with it and not telling anyone about it for two years was like (why on earth did you keep THAT to yourself, dad?), I''d know what it was like to be so close to dying while walking me (his daughter) down the aisle to marry someone during the wedding he paid for. I''d learn a lot of things that he''s never shared with me. I''ve had a good relationship with my dad, but it''s all been surface, never substance. I''m 32 and the latest Valentine card he gave me was a musical one with all of the Disney princesses on the cover that played some ballad/themesong/idkwhat. I just want to understand him. He''s given me so much and I am not equipped to reciprocate. I''d like to see what makes him tick for once.

Hands down, I''d choose my sister. She is one of the most interesting people I know. She''s very creative, very ''outside the box,'' whereas I''m more of an ''in the box'' type. She graduated from college and moved across the country to the Pacific Northwest with her boyfriend. They had created their own theater company when they were in college, and they moved to pursue their dream of opening their theater. Shortly after arriving, both my sister and my BIL worked for a a very specific type of performance art/theater company, and they got to travel the US and the world for a few years.

Now, although both have left that theater, my sister and BIL are still working in various theaters in their city. My sister still travels for shows in other parts of the country and she loves it. She''s a very silly, thoughtful, positive, caring, creative, and happy person. In the summers, she works at a performing arts camp, teaching writing, juggling, acting, and other various things.

Oh yeah, and when she''s not working as an actress or a writer, my sister is a dog trainer. She has a ''side'' business training puppies in her area. She''s wonderful at it, too. She trained one of their dogs as a therapy dog, and he travels everywhere she does.

Basically, she''s just a really cool person, someone who''d you love to hang out with and listen to her talk for hours about her adventures.

I change my answer - I want to be Zoe''s sister!!

Yeah, she''s pretty cool! I love that she has a zillion interests and she gets to pursue all of them at some point each year. Her outlook on things is great -- she''s a 30 year old kid. Actually, reading Haven''s profile on Perry''s thread reminded me of my sister.

Probably my brother he''s a chef at a famous restaurant where celebrities request him -that seems really cool!

I would trade places with my 8 year old son. He has some sensory perception issues and I would really like to
know how it feels for him and what I could do to make it better. If I can make it better for him I think it
he would be easier on me (if that makes sense)?
