Tradeoff of 4c's -- which should I go with?

I am sort of stuck here with my budget...

Option 1:
0.82ct // VS1 // H // Very good cut

Or
0.90ct // SI2 // I // Very good cut

What do you think is a better trade off? They are within $50 of each other in price. Which would be more desirable for the untrained eye? She is not going to get out a microscope, but she likes quality things. And so do I.

Hi I don't think I would every go for an si2 unless you have had it confirmed to be 100% eye clean.

I'm sure some of the experts will chime in and help you find something fabulous within your budget

For most Pricescopers, VG cut isn't good though, opting for an excellent cut as that is what dictates how much the diamond will sparkle. I would rather drop down to a J SI1 if possible.
