Thanks Ladies! Am working on a project and for the life of me could not remember the name. I was able to show my bench jeweler this pic to figure things out but I wanted to know for myself

When i google step cut traps I get much bigger stones, i am assuming this is a step cut trap baguette?

What it looks like to me or straight baguettess that have been trimmed at the edges.
We have made settings that require the cutter to trim stone by stone so that they fit together properly – they start with straight baguettes
