Tornado about a mile from my house, not clear if it touched down or not yet.
I heard it but did not see it.
The storm has been throwing small tornados for abour 15 minutes now, the back end of the storm which is the most dangerous part going through in about 10min.

Stay safe Karl and Mrs. Storm!

Geez talk about not what you need right now! Stay safe!

Stormy, we hear the sirens. The kids just went down into the basement.

They are still debating if it touched down or not and called the all clear.
I'm disappointed that I did not see it but glad it was not major.

That is Scary! Glad you and your family are safe! I lived in ridgeland Mississippi during the Katrina hurricane in 2005 and omg, I've never gone back and will never be able to live in places where there are tornadoes or hurricanes again. Although, I do like looking at pictures of tornados. A couple of days ago my son was doing a paper on fire tornadoes and yikes!

Stay safe. Prayers

Stay safe @Karl_K did my time in tornado alley growing up.

:eek2: Cripes that's all you need. Please stay safe!

Glad you are safe. Mother Nature keeps on going no matter what other crises are occurring. Harsh but true. Stay safe everyone.

Glad you are safe.

I too am glad you are safe!

I'm glad everyone is safe!!!

Glad you are all safe in your households, Dee*Jay and Karl.

I was watching the radar last night and thinking of you and wifey. I’m glad all is ok!

Stormy, off topic, but I'm planning on going to Meijer on Perryville on Tuesday morning first thing. Can I pick up anything for you and W4E? I'm sure we can figure out a convenient rendezvous point. More than happy to do it! Really!!!

And in current weather... we just had hail bigger than a quarter.

TR is pretty sure his truck is destroyed.

Stormy, you get any?

Where in heck do you two live?

Yikes! Where are y'all at, if you don't mind me asking?

I think they're in Illinois?

Yes, Illinois. I have a condo downtown (a few blocks from the John Hancock Building) but I'm staying up with TR who lives close to Rockford, near the Wisconsin border.

Super glad to be adding this extra bit of adventure to my life right now. NOT.

@Dee*Jay It shrank a bit on it’s way to my house, pea size here.
Sorry about TR’s truck.

Bon, glad to hear it wasn't as bad by you. I've got a video but no idea how to post it. Crazy...

Pea sized for about 3 minutes followed, by a real heavy rain for about 5 min, 40+mph winds for about 2 minutes.
The power lines were humming so it was over 40 but they were not howling so it was under 60.
We were looking outside and could see the hail line as it came through it was hailing on one side of our street and not the other.

Sorry to hear about his truck.
