Too shallow

i found a OEC with a table of 50.6 and a depth of 40.5. I think it's too shallow for a ring, vender says they can set it into anything. Thought please.

Of course they can set it into anything.
They can set a grain of rice into anything too.

With 40.5% depth it must have horrible windowing.
I'd pass.

Pretty sure a good jeweler can set a stone of any depth- doesn't mean it will look good

Wellll... there are no hard and fast rules about OECs, but that depth makes me very skeptical it will perform well. If yo uwant to consider it further ask for a photo looking directly into the table of the stone. But I would not bother myself.

only way I would persue this stone is if there was a great return policy.
