So after the advice of many of you on here I finally bought this stone to go with this setting

Its
.95 ct
G color
SI1
EX EX EX

My only concern was if it was eye clean which was under debate until I guess James Allen himself looked at the diamond to confirm it was (talk about customer service).

However, right now I'm having a little buyer's remorse I guess with the fact that the only inclusion seems to be two feathers located in the diamond. Do any of you think based on looking at the images if this is going to pose a problem?

Congrats! I too am looking into buying a ring from JA? How was your experience dealing with them? I had the same concern on the diamond I was looking at. I called and asked if the diamond was eye clean and also about the color. Ashley told me it was eye clean and no yellow (it is a J color). She also said it has a lot of fire. Do you think I should do more to make sure it is eye clean? Thank you!
I don''t know too much about diamond, but I posed the same question to Ashley and she said as long as the inclusions are not at the surface, they should not be a problem.

Yuk... don''t you just hate buyer''s remorse? :)

I would say that if James Allen gave you their assurance the diamond was eye clean to your standards, then I''d trust that.

Ultimately if you get the ring & you''re not happy, they''ll fix it for you - which should be as much reassurance as you need. :)

JA have a great reputation here and your diamond looks like it will be lovely. Relax & try & look forward to seeing it.

Many PSers have eye clean SI1s - so you will be in good company.

Do share pics when you get your ring! :)

I think you made a great decision. Luckily if the diamond isn''t eye clean enough to your standards they have a great return and/or trade up policy to pick out a different stone.

Hi ConnectFour: SO and I just bought an SI1 Asscher from James Allen. They confirmed that it was eye-clean, but I was still skeptical since step-cuts are more likely to show inclusions. We decided to buy the diamond, but, since we were worried, they suggested we ship out the stone and examine it for ourselves before we have it set. That way, if the inclusion bothered us we could return the diamond and select another one from their inventory. Of course, it was fabulous and eye clean, so we sent it back in to be set. If you think you might want to do that, they are totally accommodating. I found it great to work with them.

It looks beautiful but it sounds like they have a great return policy if you are not happy.
