Too good to be true? 2.06 OMC earrings

That''s a good tactic, to ask for a better price. I''d be looking for 20 percent off at least since the actual specs were so far off what was advertised. If you can get that, I''d definitely keep them though. Mine were O color, VS1 and they were as advertised. Same size as yours and I paid 3300 for them. Not killer great but I felt it was fair.

Now I did get one killer deal on Ebay this spring. A 1 ct. OMC, really nice stone that I got for 1200 and resold for more than 3 times that.

leile: I''m so sorry the appraisal didn''t go as well as you had hoped. Now that you are armed with the information, I think that you can negotiate if you still want them. I sense that you still really like them. They are beautiful next to your ring.

Tough decision, I know. They are a gorgeous pair of studs. I guess it all depends on how you feel about the performance and the price.

Sorry to keep you waiting. After a long back and forth chat with the seller, the earrings went back. I loved them but felt uncomfortable with the price I was paying for the color of the diamonds. Seller was unwilling to reduce the price so back they went. Seller was great in agreeing to refund me and paying for 1/2 of the appraisal costs.

Now, I am hunting for earrings again.

That''s wonderful!! Not that you had to return them, but that the seller agreed to pay 1/2 of your appraisal cost.

They were beautiful and I know how much you liked them. There''s probably a perfect pair just waiting for you to be united!!
