Tom Petty has died

Was lucky enough to see him in concert twice. Today is just the worst.

How unbelievably sad! This is really unexpected, he'd just finished his 40th anniversary tour. His music is wonderful and he'll be missed.

Everytime I hear any Tom Petty song I immediately think of my niece when she was two and a half running to the CD player to turn on "Running Down The Dream" and dancing her little heart out. We kept that CD in the player whenever we knew she was coming over and it would take her all of 1 minute to turn it on. RIP Tom
