That dress is amazing on you! Not everybody could pull off the mermaid look, but the dress looks perfect on you! Plus, your smile says it all...Congratulations!

So many replys! Wow, thank you all for you comments, I am sooooooo sooooo amazingly happy with the dress.

No alterations necessary, just the bustle, cut off the straps and add two mor loops on the bottom of the corset back. So, now I need to decide hair up, down or half way. What do you think? I ordered the bridesmaid dress too.

I don''t usually comment in this section however I have to on this one. You are stunning in your dress. It is outstanding and you look unbelievable in it. You mentioned your hair, I like it bets pulled up in the pictures with your dress. So, I say up wtih long chandlier type earrings and no necklace.

I think any way you wear your hair will look nice. Your hair is gorgeous, esp the color....and the curls! (I have mousy brown frizz lol) I kinda used the veil to decide. Once the hairdresser started putting it in different places on my head I could decide which way looked right. Are you going to wear one?

I''m guessing for your fitting that they just tied you up in back quickly. The photo of your back shows some of the corset twisting at the top, which reminded me that I heard my seamstress telling the girls how to tie me up so that each piece lies flat. Prior to her saying that, I wouldn''t have thought of it because I can''t exactly see back there! I''m not sure my MOH would have done it that neatly otherwise or not. Does that make any sense? I''m probably rambling...
 
Forgot to say those BM dresses rock! The top of them compliments your dress too!

Thanks Winston! I hadn''t even noticed the twisting, it was a quick tie up. I am not sure it is even going the right direction (shoelace). Do you have a photo of the back of your dress?

Although you are one of those exceptional people who can wear their hair ten different ways and look fabulous with all of them, this pic really stood out to me as far as your hair/face goes. I say up like this.

I agree with the hair up..How long is your hair?? If it it really long though...middle of boob long..lol..maybe down with a few curls..But..I guess I still like up, and make a few pieces like this...
I wish I had a pic of the back...but I dont...but its just kinda of twisted?? and you could make/buy rhinestone hair pins to add in there for just a little bit more *sparkle* since your dress is gorgeous and all sparkly...
oh and def chandelier earrings would be awesome...and if u did that maybe a solitaire necklace...or nothing..

I feel as if I am around the same size as you - probably a little bigger, but she told me I was right in the middle of two sizes. I went with the bigger once to make sure it wasnt too small, but yours looks absolutely perfect and I am worried my lacing in the back is going to have NO space inbetween. I am SO scared for when it comes in and feel like its going to be too big! You might actually be smaller than me, you probably are, but she talked me into ordering an 8! I knew I wanted the 6 though! What designer is your dress, also?

I ordered a 6 but in retrospect I could have done the 4...if I lose any weight it''s going to be too big.

It is the Sophia Tolli "Meagan" style number is Y1821 Meagan

Hmm! Well that makes me feel a little better then!! That you ordered a 6 and you look tiny!! I am 5''7" and around 140 right now, I plan on losing 10 for the wedding and I will just have to get the dress taken in!!
