Good grief, they need their own DAY? In my experience, if you don't respect a cat every day, they let you know about it like right that very moment they feel disrespected!!! When I was in college (and beyond) I had a kitty who would pee in my suitcase when I had the audacity to leave town for two days and also left giant piles of poo on every kitchen, door, or bathmat just for the hell of it--although I'm pretty sure she just found some reason to punish me for putting a bell on her collar so she couldn't sneak up and attack my feet in the middle of the night.
