There's a video, I can't find it so I'll describe it

A woman speaking on the phone.
"Is this the employment agency?

I'm looking to hire someone- it's a full time job.

I need them to read and answer the emails from my son's school."

I have 3 kids, two in middle school, one in high school. 7 teachers each - 21 teachers emailing me on a regular basis! Half the time I'm not sure which kid they are talking about!!!

We never hear from the school!

We just get one school report and one parent teacher interview per year.

He is in primary so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I didn't get near as many before online school. I guess it's to be expected and I am grateful they try to keep me up to date. But I do get overwhelmed!

Our emails are reasonable which is great because there is enough to keep up with two kids (one in 1st and one in 8th) doing distance learning.

Although when they should send an email we get nothing. Like when Zoom was hacked by a flasher last week for one of the 8th grade teams

Yikes that's bad not to tell you!

Oh my God emails.... so many emails.

@Polabowla, right? We found out from a friend our son talks to and from a local parents page. This is not the first time either.

Years ago our oldest was in a magnet school (different than his current) and one of the mothers I was friendly with found out through an email from someone on the PTA that there was copper in the water, so all the water fountains were contaminated. The school had a scientist who would teach the kids and he tested the water. The school took four days to tell the parents, FOUR DAYS the preschool and kindergarten children drank that water not to mention the other elementary age kids.

A lot of stuff goes on in schools that you only find out about if you know someone on the inside. It's enough to make me want to pull them both out and homeschool!

:-o:-o that is my reaction because I have no words!
