the good news! we're engaged! the not-as-good, my now-fiancee has never owned a ring before and has never really been into cleaning jewelry, which sort of boils over to her views on the diamond ring. Meanwhile, I happen to be somewhat of a stickler for keeping the engagement ring clean.
I showed her how to clean the engagement ring. She does seem not too enthusiastic about it, like one would view it as a chore. She is coming around and acknowledging that yes, maybe, the engagement ring should be cleaned periodically.
My question is more of the "social" type. If she just doesn't feel like cleaning the diamond ring because it's not her thing, should I just leave her alone about it? I do realize it's her ring, she can do with it whatever she wants. I mean, it can't get too dirty right?
