Thank you Daisy. They make us strong in Brooklyn...I was posting right after I woke up from a 6 hour surgery to repair my broken tibia and fibula. So yeah, if I stop posting that is not good news for us in Brooklyn...

This was in June 2014 and that was a challenging 8 months. I broke my leg because we got a flat on the tandem and fell and I could not declip my left leg from the pedal ( I was wearing Shimano SPDs that clipped into the pedals) and my whole leg twisted and crunch. It was pretty gruesome. I remember it like it was yesterday and when I start getting restless now I remember at least we are OK and not in pain and can move etc. But I know should we get ill with Covid 19 it might make 2014 look like a cakewalk even with the intense pain I was in for a couple of months and beyond.
