Hi,
I saw the picture of your fiancee's ring on the "Show me the Ring" thread, and I think it's beautiful. Exactly what I want, but in platinum.

I was hoping you could help me with something: I was wondering if you had to special order the setting, because I can only find that setting for a 1.0 carat and a 1.5 carat. Did you have to have a setting specially made?

Also, I was curious as to your fiancee's ring size. I'm trying to get a feel for how that setting will look on my finger, since the closest retailer from me is over an hour away.

HI Daisy,

Thank your for your kind words. The ring is simplistic in nature, but has some very nice sparkle and subtle lines. She has been receiving many favorable compliments in the past few weeks.

We purchased the ring at DBOF, (Jan and Brad were excellent) and the setting was ordered directly from DVatche. It took about 3-4 weeks to arrive after ordering.

I know that Brad set the stone and not DVatche. If it was made for that specific size stone, (1.62) I do not know. If you'd like me to call DBOF, I'd be happy to do so.

My fiancee's ring size is 7.

Also, if you need more photo's of the ring on her hand, I'd be happy to send them too. Just PM me on here and I'll be happy to send you the information.
