UPDATE : So it''s here! Yipeeee!

It looks much better now. I think the stone is still slightly off, but I can''t really notice it. I think part of the proble is that the stone is raised quite a bit above the halo, and if I view it at even a slight angle it looks off. So, I think I am fine with the final product. No more parting with my precious!
