Okay, so a lot of the homes we''ve been looking at are split levels, split foyers, or what some call raised ranch homes.
My question is to anyone who may have a split level (particularly a split foyer), how do you make the actual "split" area of the home look welcoming and "homey" rather than like a maze?
If anyone has pictures of their entryways, I would be *SO* appreciative if you''d share them here. I''m a VERY visual person and I don''t "get" things until I see them. And all I see now is opening a front door and being hit with a decision to either go up or go down, and I think there should be some sort of welcoming/direction-giving decor to help make it look more like a house.
Please help me!!
