Hello PS, I am looking for logistical information regarding attending the Caribbean Carnival in Brooklyn NY. My idea is to drive from the Boston MA area to either Brooklyn, Bronx or lower Manhattan then take the subway to the carnival parade route.
I understand the beginning location is Utica Ave/Eastern Parkway and it proceeds to Grand Army Plaza. I did mapquest the Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway. But I am sure I will not be able to get anywhere close with streets being blocked off. So I thought maybe drive to outer Brooklyn or a neighboring borough perhaps?
Well have driven through NY on the Cross Bronx Expway to points south for example NJ. However I have no idea about driving around the boroughs. Looking for at a least an end point to enter into mapquest to drive to from Boston, then subway over to the parade.
Good idea? Bad idea? Any logistical tips directions would be greatly appreciated.
