Time it takes to set a stone in a band?

How long does it take to set a stone (round) in a band (solitaire) ? assuming a jeweler is available - could this be done in a single day? Few hours?

Do you already have the solitaire setting?

When I got my new setting, my stone was set while I watched, 20 minutes max.

Assuming that the jeweler had no other work to be done, it could be set in an hour or so (my jeweler did that for me). However, most jewelers don't do that unless you have a relationship with them or have called ahead to check their schedule, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a few days.
