Time is our most valuable asset, how do you spend yours?

As I've gotten older, I've realized health and time are our most valuable assets. You can't really make or buy more of either.

Today is the youngest you'll ever be. How do you spend your time and your one life? Are you making the most of it?

I love doing nothing, and thinking.

Doing things that I like to do, spending downtime as I see fit, and do not feel the need to conform to other people's idea of normality.

Haha I always say that. That today is the youngest we will ever be. And yes I also feel very strongly that time is our most valuable asset and we can never have enough of it. It's in short supply. One must prioritize in life to make the best use of what time we are fortunate enough to have.

I spend each day showing my love and appreciation for my loved ones. They know in no uncertain terms how much I love each and everyone of them. I want to have no regrets in life and the most important thing in life (IMO) are our relationships. Those with our friends and family and significant others and furry babies too.

So I spend my time one day at a time living in the moment and feeling each emotion fully and living each day to the best of my ability. Making this world hopefully a little better for having been in it and those who I love know it. Every single day.

And being engaged fully as best I can. To me that is joy.

ETA:
I feel most free when I am doing something helping others. I get out of my head for a bit and that is good too because I am almost always on (thinking and thinking and thinking) and it is a welcome respite to sometimes get out of my head for a while. And helping rescue animals and doing other activities to bring some good to others helps me too. And I enjoy that so much.

Which brings me to another question perhaps for another thread. Is there really anything in life that is true altruistic behavior? Because IMO altruistic behavior helps both the giver and the recipient.

I carpe diem every day.
