Hi all - perhaps a strange request and a shot in the dark, but wondering if anyone who has an actual (not replica) Tiffany 6 prong knife edge solitaire around 1.5 - 2 ct size, and some calipers could measure their ring for me, pretty please? Particularly the width and height at the shoulders, but sides and bottom would be great to know as well.
I have a custom Tiffany style solitaire that I've been having trouble pairing a band with for years, because my ring's profile is a little too low for my taste (I prefer my band to be lower profile than my e-ring). I think I'm going to have a new one made, partly for this reason. I've seen Tiffany solitaires paired with large diamond bands that look fabulous, so I'd love to know the thickness so I can base my next custom solitaire on that. I know there are very close replicas out there and I could just buy one of those, but I've studied them all closely and I just prefer the Tiffany version, especially at the shoulders, I want to replicate that part in particular... but with a different style head, hence the custom route. Thank you!!
