I am torn between these two, although they are different size wise and much different price wise!

The Tiff''s is approx 3/4 ct 2.2 mm about $5300 and LM''s is approx 1/2 ct about $1600 (not sure width?)

oops didn''t attach a pic of the Tiffany Band!

Why don''t you ask LM to make you one with slightly bigger diamonds? Personaly I perfer the LM for the price alone.

Any and all opinions greatly appreciated!

I plan on adding a second band also, and eventually a new diamond

The set I am thinking of is kind of like Kate Beckinsales ...... but not quite as thin?

That is a great idea!!!

When you say bigger diamonds, should I ask for 3/4 ct? Sorry if I don''t know what I am talking about

I think in a nutshell, yes. Are the rings the same size? If so then the Tiffany proababy has bigger mele. If you don''t care about the size then I''m not sure why there is any question...go with the LM. If you are questioning as it relates to the work, both are excelent! Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply!

Nope not questioning the work at all!
It''s just that I actually tried on the Tiffany ring so I knew what that looked like IRL. I was thinking I wanted something a bit thinner so maybe a 2mm? Would there be much difference in 2.2 and 2mm? Or do I want less ct size?

See that is where I was confusing myself

I''m not sure about the visual difference between 2mm and 2.2mm but I would go for a thinner band especially if you want to stack it in the future with another band. Wow, I can''t believe the huge price difference between them even though the Tiffany band has slightly more/ bigger diamonds but still what a price hike! I would definately go with Leon Mege. I''ve seen lots of threads here and his work is top class. I think the Leon band in the pic is around 2mm because I''ve seen thinner bands on his website, which are around 1.6mm and this is a bit thicker.

I agree with KittyBling about going with the thinner band, especially since you are thinking of stacking it.

I have a similar LM wedding band to the one you posted (roughly 2.5mm) and I prefer to wear it as a stand-alone ring. (Don''t like how it looks stacked.)

Thank you for your replies!

I am going to call and ask the exact width! I do know the one shown is .48 ct and 42 stones and a size5 (my size)

I recently went with LM band to complement my 3.1 ct harry winston micropave ering. The LM is as nice if not nicer than the HW in both craftsmanship and diamond quality. Mine is smaller (1.4 mm), but he can make them in any size. I think he likes to use white flash for his mele.

The price is really outstandig as well.

I also had him make new micropave settings for my stud earrings. He does great work!!
