Compare to what? Did I miss another thread?

Sorry my question was unclear. I like the Tiffany ones (which I think are bead-set), but DF suggested having LM make them in micropave instead. What do you think?

the novo''s appear to have for tiny prongs holding the stones in where as the micropave I''ve seen Leon do has just 2 beads. the novo''s are so small you can''t really see a huge difference b/t the 2 styles. I think they are beautiful but having Leon make a micropave band along with your e-ring isn''t a bad idea either. Get the one you want...

Thanks, Mrssalvo! DF thinks we''ll save money by going to Leon. We''ll see.

Harriet, I'm not sure how much the novo's are, but I'd be surprised if a Leon pave band is much less. His bands are labor intensive so they won't be cheap.

$7,325 in all. Egads!

No kidding about the Tiffany markup. I could have my re-set and 3 bands from Leon for less than the price of those Novos!

One thing just occurred to me. I intend to wear them stacked. Will the micropave abrade?

not if they are one sided, only 3 sided pave have potential rubbing issues, one sided will be metal touching metal so there won't be a problem..

Good to know. Thanks! We''ll see what Leon quotes.

Personally I''m biased in favor of the Tiffany Legacy band. I absolutely LOVE mine! I''m the mix and match queen, and this band looks good with everything, and, being bead set, there is no possibility of any girdles rubbing/chipping or cutting into any prongs.

I also have a Tiffany Legacy band. I just love it.

I''d go with leon since he might have some artistic design to best match the solitaire he is making you and the price is cheaper. I actually think his work is better than tiffanys.

I''d also probably have Leon make the bands if he is making the e-ring.

However, I love the Novo and Legacy bands!

Kaleigh, MaryAlaina,
I like the Legacy band too, but I want the band in all 3 types of gold (the rolling ring has gone to my head).

Everyone else,
Leon says he will do a better job, but he's charging even more!!!

hmm, i wonder why? is it the cost of the pink gold? is he going to make them 4 pronged like the novo?

well, if he''s more, then i''d go with the novo''s no question!!

why is he charging more, the bands on his website are pretty reasonably priced...??

Mrssalvo,
Same width, more stone, less metal. I'll tell him I like that amount of metal and see what he says. I agree with you, though.

kcoursolle,
Those are on sale, I believe.
