I am so confused and keep going back and forth. I''m on the hunt for a very thin (less than 2mm in width) eternity band. I would so appreciate any thoughts and opinions you all have!
My e-ring is a Tiffany Legacy cushion cut ring, and my ring size is a 4.5. I love it, and I''m hoping to find a thin eternity band that will complement but not overpower it. The matching Legacy band, IMO, is too bulky for my taste.
I''m in love with the delicateness of the Tiffany metro band but various Tiffany salespeople have discouraged me from selecting it as a wedding band because it is WG (my e-ring is platinum). I think they also think it''s too delicate (because it''s thin not just because it''s WG) to stand the daily wear and tear of everyday use. I do notice the subtle difference between WG and platinum when they both sit together but I''m not sure that really bothers me personally. I am more concerned about losing the small stones or not having a durable wedding band.
The other option I''m considering is the Michael B crown legacy sideband (about 1.6mm, I think). This comes in platinum. It''s beautiful as well, and more expensive than the Metro, of course. The Tiff looks more sparkly to me but it''s hard to tell since I can''t compare them both side by side.
Any thoughts on which way I should go? I see lots of admirers of the Tiffany metro in this forum--what about the Michael B sideband?
Thanks a bunch!!!
