good find! hope someone snatches it up, oh and takes pictures!

I give it half an hour before that baby is snapped up ... pretty!

Just took a look at the certificate. I didn''t realize Tiffany''s would use a modified brilliant cushion in their Legacy rings. (Or am I not comparing apples with apples?) Would a modified brilliant on a Tiffany''s certificate be equivalent to a modified brilliant on a GIA certificate?

Am I also seeing right that the table is 69% and depth is 60.4%? Shouldn''t these numbers be reversed?

I don''t know too much, but I believe that Tiffany''s version of a modified cushion is exactly that, TIFFANY''s version of a modified cushion (something can be modified in more than one way, right?). Patented and all that jazz. That said, I don''t know what the specs SHOULD be for the Tiffany stone. Please correct me if I''m wrong.

the legacy is a patented cut...there are no rules or plots out there for it, it doesn't fall into the normal(whatever that really is) cushion categories, it's kinda a hybrid cushion/step cut...top secret tiffany stuff you know

Thanks QueenG and mrssalvo!

Just took another closer look at the centre stone. You're right, mrssalvo, it's definitely a "hybrid cushion/step cut". Wonder why I never noticed this when I was looking at them in the Tiffany store???

Happyday, I''m nuts for that Emerald with Trillions too! But, I got my Tiffany ring already (secondhand, of course!). I''m just waiting for the resize and the proposal...

Don''t blame you; your ring is gorgeous!

Wow what a fantastic price. Jeez, that''s significantly cheaper than my tanzanite. LOL :-)

Oh and yeah, that cut is patented, but Tiffany doesn''t own it. They just own the license to it. The original inventor owns it. (Sort of unusual for the inventor to own the patent when a product like this is so successfully marketed worldwide, but in this case, true nonetheless).

wow-what a great price for it!! And it''s my ring size

It''s just you.

That''s the same price it was earlier.

Is size 8 very common? You can''t size the ring too much with the pave.

I think there is something wrong with the Diamonds appearance....
Its probably out of the range within the allowed scope of the patent parameters...

Too shallow and table too big!
