So, I spoke to one of the guys at Quest jewlers over the weekend, and sent him a picture of the tiffany deco setting that i like with the traps and square step cuts. He said that not only is it possible to make one just like it, he has one in the case for me to look at! So, I am going down there on Wed. to look at it & discuss redesigning my e-ring. Because I''m not sure that I love the head with the ribbon prongs in the Tiffany picture, he said we could do whatever type of head that I would want on it.
They were so great to speak to on the phone, I''m really excited to head down there and take a look at their designs! Since I''m not in a rush to do the re-design, I''m going to try a bunch of stuff on, and maybe take my husband down there too once I''ve narrowed down my choices so we can go pick a new setting together. I also can''t do it until I trade my asscher (which I''m pretty sure that I want to do now) but I have a feeling that even in the case that I do keep my asscher maybe a totally different setting will give it the bling factor I''m looking for ... we''ll see how I feel after trying on a bunch of different designs ...
But I have to say, I have been really wearing my fakey RB with the deco-type setting all weekend, and I can''t stop staring at it. I think I may be an RB convert now
I''ll post again on Wed. after my trip to Quest and let you guys know how it goes. By the way, I''ve read only good things about Quest on here - if anyone has anything to add about their service & product quality, let me know - I have to say, though, just talking to them on the phone, they seem like they''ll be great to work with.
