I saw the panda video on FB this morning and shared it, because I thought it was so delightful!

My daughter was at Bei Bei's debut at The National Zoo. She was there either last Sunday or Monday. It was 24 degrees and there was, she said, almost no one at the zoo. She said Bei Bei was the size of our Newfoundland dog, Griffin. I believe she said that Bei Bei was eight months old. I never saw the panda's name written before I saw this thread and to me it sounded as if she was saying, "Bébé. Apparently the cub is adorable, too.

Me too! I haven't been to the National Zoo since I was a kid, but I did get to see Panda Bears playing at the Memphis Zoo. Too cute!

Wow! That's so cool! I was reading further down in the article and it said the cub didn't like the snow as much. Bei Bei is super cute! Your daughter was lucky to be there. I especially loved hearing that the cub was near the size of your dog!
