Thursday Night Date

What would you and your SO do for fun on a Thursday night?
(or a Tuesday or any night deemed a "school night" meaning you still have to get up early and work the next day.)

Of course there''s always dinner and then there''s the movie........

We''ve gone bowling, mini golfing, dinner, movie (although I don''t particularly like going out to a movie on date night because we don''t really get the chance to *talk* if we see a movie), frozen yogurt/ice cream, Dave and Buster''s (or another arcade-type place). Obviously not ALL of those on ONE date night

Or there''s always cuddling and watching one or two movies at home together.

I love date nights, but we also can''t stay out too late because of school/work the next day. Pretty much all of those give us a chance to talk and have fun together, but they''re still things that can get us home early enough for a good night of sleep.

We love the dinner theatre. The ones that you can order dinner at and eat while you watch. Makes it easier to do the early movie and still be home before 10.

Maybe go down to the dock and eat dinner on the pier to watch sailboats come in. (if you live near water)

We've done the batting cages too, and/or putt-putt.

We cook dinner together, take the dog for an extra-long walk, and then curl up together and chat or watch our favourite shows on the DVR.

We usually do what Princesss and her boyfriend do. Dinner and a movie (or DVR''d show) is always a hit with us!

Dinner and a movie is our standby, but if we are feeling lazy or want more cuddle-time and chatting, we stay in with a DVD or two and take-out. I like the nights we stay in the best, we are both huge cuddlebugs.

When we have a couple of hours we''ll go to the local World Market or furniture store and just look around, or sit at the starbucks and chat (yes, we''re that couple

). Fun and inexpensive. I''m a horrid movie-watcher - the sort that just can''t shut up and watch - so that standby is out!
