Thumbs Up or Down on this ACA WF Round?

I, um, made a ninth inning change and switched diamonds on reserve with WF. I just couldnt see spending an extra 1K for a .10 increase in carat size. So...eternally grateful if the PS''ers in the know can give me a thumbs up or down on this diamond. I think it has everything PS''ers deem important but if I felt 100% sure in my ability I wouldnt be looking for reassurance. As always, thanks in advance.

All ACA''s are fine. I think .90 range stones are a good value, but they are not as large as a 6.5mm 1 carat stone, either. I think the extra thousand is worth it, personally, if your desire is to have a one carat stone. But if she was not expecting 1 ct., then I am sure she''ll love it!

I don''t think you''ll ever get a thumbs down on an ACA, Infinity, GOG signature round, etc! It''s practically a knee-jerk reaction among us. And well deserved.

Thanks All! I feel relieved.........I''ve come a long way from 15 years ago when the only time in my life I walked into the first brick and mortar shop and "selected" that shiny ring without ever giving a thought to cut, clarity, etc.....PS has guided me to make a sound investment.

Diamondseeker- totally agree with you, is why I went for the bigger one at first then changed my mind. I was definitely on the fence. GF has no idea about anything...unless she stumbles upon this site. I figure with WF''s excellent upgrade policy I will take the savings on this one, put it into customizing the setting which will last a lifetime, and then upgrade the diamond down the road. Ultimately, 1.5 is sounding right. Am trying to see if WF can incorporate Morrell''s torchiere prong design into one of their cathedral settings.
