I have three rogue hairs now.

#1 I''ve had for about 3 years now and it is thankfully still baby fine and baby blonde but it gets really freakishly long and it is *right* between my eyes. It''s so fine I don''t find it until it''s really long usually like an inch.
#2 I''ve had for about a year and it is on the right side of my chin. Also thankfully baby blonde but it''s coarse and I keep plucking it hoping it will go away... but it grows back. I''ve never let this one get that long.
#3 I just found and it''s growing on the left side of my chin in exactly the same color and location as the other, but opposite side. My husband is teasing me that I''m getting whiskers and I tell him that it isn''t funny. I have a few friends who have to shave little bits here and there, though if it were me I''d be plucking like mad instead of cutting them off.

that''s all... everyone on PS is asleep!

Why not just get electrolysis? I had one chin hair (very dark) and I got it zapped twice. It never grew back.

never occurred to me really - seems like a lot of hassle lol I''m naturally a light blonde so thankfully all of my body hair is light... I barely have to shave my legs and I only do it 2-3 times per summer. You can''t actually SEE these hairs, it''s more of a mental thing - oh look at me, getting old, yay!

It is like, you get a bit older and hair follicles go nuts. What makes them decide to pop our weird places? DH and I get one in the exact same place, right about our left eyebrow. If I get one, I tell him and he

ALWAYS has one at the same time!!!! Luckily, they are both very fine and blond and hardly noticable! I find it in my 10X mirror!

I have one on my collarbone. Fine and white/blonde even though I''m auburn. I don''t even notice it until it''s an inch or LONGER. Just seems freakish to me because I don''t even have any hair there.

I found a strange white GOAT hair sticking out of my cheek the other day.

Could NOT pluck that sucker fast enough. Am used to scanning for the dualing dark under chin hairs that have made their home in me ... but Old Whitey was a newbie. A horrifyingly long, god-knows-how-long-its-been-there newbie. Jimminy Xmas. Why didn''t DH tell me? Why didn''t I see it? I''m pretty sure fellow highway driver could have spied that if the sunlight was glinting just so.

for shame.

cracking up, deco...hahaha...

for those of you who only have a few here and there--well, I envy you. I''ve got an uncountable number on my chinny-chin-chin. And I''m a super-dark brunette. EW.

I''m 29 and I have SO MANY rogue hairs. And, they''re jet black, AND, I''m super pale.

It''s in my genes, my mom is the same way. It was all fun and games when I had an awesome dark mane of hair on my head, and really dramatic black eyebrows.

And then the follicles started migrating and multiplying.

. . . And now I''m BFF with my laser hair removal specialist.

A friend of mine found a really long blond hair growing out of the middle of her back. She''s convinced that it fell out of her head and implanted itself into her back. She refuses to believe that it actually grew out of the spot.

I hear ya, Haven--mine are caused by hormones, so sadly, laser removal really won''t do the trick--they might be able to fix the ones that I have now, but there will always be more

SIL is a hairdresser, and she told me that, if you can believe it, she has had clients'' hairs fall and implant themselves into her skin. The worst part? They start growing. NO JOKE. I couldn''t believe it when I heard it--they''re called "hair splinters"...I cannot believe how g-g-grrross that is!

deco you cracked me up and that is exactly how I feel lol I really do sympathize with those who have to deal with it more. My husband is my personal sasquatch these days and if his father is any indication, he''s going to have 4" long eyebrows someday!

Alli--EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW to the hair story! Oh my gosh, that''s so gross. I have a serious case of the heebie jeebies just thinking about it.

So maybe my friend was right about her long blond back hair?! I''ll have to tell her, she''ll be so happy for some validation. We were laughing so hard at her story when she told us.

Maybe you could compete.
They have contests for this kind of thing.

At Monobrow.com, we don't view having one eyebrow as a grotesque, freakish human deformity.
On the contrary.
We think you are special (and not the kind of special where you wear a helmet.)
The kind of special where people look at the hairy, catipillar-like growth above your eyes and say, "Oh my God! What the hell is that thing?"
You're not alone.
Monobrow.com, celebrating the unity of your eyebrows.

oh kenny - no thanks... my husband plucks his brows lol They''re not super long yet, I just imagine its in his future

Ha! This made me laugh. It''s not funny but funny. I"m still traumatized from my first grey hair a few years ago.

This thread is hilarious. The image of me pulling up in a car next to you people and watching you guys yanking out rogue hairs at a traffic light just cracks me up!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh, so glad it''s not just me! I was literally about to post on a similar topic earlier this week, after finding yet another mutant hair: ever since I was in my teens, once in a while one would spring into being, Athena-like. I''ve had maybe 4 of them in my life, and yet they never fail to freak me out, because, seriously: who manages to pop a two-inch long hair overnight? GRODY, folks.

I''m 28 and have one on my chin. My husband has named it.. it comes and goes, but I always notice it when it''s barely out of the skin since it''s really dark and my skin is pretty pale

I feel kind of affectionate towards it in a strange way :) but I wouldn''t admit that to anyone in real life!
