I stumbled on your site many moons ago and I can't help but visit when I can. I'm looking to buy a .90-.95 stone and I've found these three. Iv'e got the Sarin reports (by the way is it possible for the Sarin to be wrong... just wondering. Please help me choose. I've attached one photo and all attach the rest in following post. Thank you before hand because I have seen first hand how valuable your information is. The stones:

Where are you finding these diamonds? Are you shopping online or in a brick and mortar store?

Lawmax, I'm finding these stones on-line. Can you (or anyone) tell me any perceived differences between these stones from a more informed viewpoint? The stones range from $4,700 to 5,200. Thanks

Thanks Buttercup. I ended up purchasing the third stone from bluenile for $4893. I guess their price matched the with the one you found. The other two were also advertized at bluenile but for a higher price (one at 4200 and one at 4500 I think). What I think is they (bluenile) has certain stones in stock and then advertizes for the "wholeseller" inventory also. The rep that I got was very helpful during the entire process. I was in a very 'rush' situation since I'm getting married in July and we still did not have the ring... setting by far the hardest - she got to choose her ring (Verragio ENG-0195) but that took some serious time to decide on (Verragio build time - 12 days through Robins out of Philly... well under retail). Anyway, I looked at probably over 100 stones and took a detailed look at about 20 (had the excel spreadsheet going and all). Bluenile was very responsive with the Sarin reports but the majority of the scaned images came through with poor quality :(sad (could not make out some of the numbers on about 80% of them). Besides that it all went well. I had the rep ask one of their gem people to check the stone for flawes and they said it was very eye clean. I ended up purchasing the very first diamond I looked at (ironic... yes, after all those hours:knockout: ) I thought this would be an easy process but it is unbelievable the amount of information you can learn about diamonds (I still know nothing:rolleyes: ). Your site led my to quite abit of information so thank you. The bluenile rep's office was located in Seatle and by chance so was the stone. I ordered it at 4:00pm on Friday and it shipped the same day, I should have it Monday morning. I've already aranged to have a apprasial done by one of the people you recomend in Albany, NY on Monday. On Tuesday Robins will be recieving the setting from Verragio as well as the stone that I send down to be set , and hopefully be on her finger Wendesday nite. If it all goes well :errrr: , and I'm preying it does, I'll be worry free and back to concentrating at work by Thursday. Thanks, I'll let you know how it comes out... sorry for the length. Peace.
