Three stone engagement ring

Looking for ideas on 3 stone sapphire engagement rings. I would love to have a sapphire in center with diamonds on sides.

Found this one which I like:

They also have another one with blue sapphire in center which is nice but I think the pink sapphire one looks nicer.

Which one should I go with? Any other recommendations?

I dislike both (to be honest). I think if you want a colored stone as a center stone, then that needs to be the "Star" of the show. Neither of these are well cut (they have large windows in the middle--the see through part), so I wouldn't purchase either of them. Is this for you, for a future fiance?

Thanks for your advise. Do you know of any good jeweler or website where I can find similar style rings with GIA graded diamonds and sapphires? The local jewelers I have checked with either have treated sapphires or cloudy / hazy stones.

This is not the simplest answer, but the best way to ensure you get well cut sapphires and well cut diamonds in a ring style you like is to buy the sapphire separately, then pick the diamonds for the sidestones, then have a custom setting made. Otherwise you can find a jeweler who has access to good sapphires and then have them custom make you a ring once you have chosen. Most premade new sapphire rings are not very high quality. If you are open to secondhand pieces, that can greatly expand your options. Check the colored stones forum here for recommendations.
