Three new stones on hold from James Allen. Thoughts?

For those of you who have helped already, I still have the BG stone on hold, but was a bit scared off talking to them today as it seems the inclusion is dark, and pretty visible anywhere closer than 10 inches ;( . So I looked at what James Allen had in my $13k budget and found 3 eye-clean stones that I put on hold with Idealscope requests. Do any of these stand out as a nice option if I let the BG stone go?

1.7ct VS1: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.70-carat-i-color-vs1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-280846

1.65ct VS1: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.65-carat-i-color-vs1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-244395

1.62 VS2: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.62-carat-i-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-275810

Each has a nice HCA score under 2. The 1.7ct has a strongg blue flour. Thanks very much for everyone's help so far it is greatly appreciated!

The 1.65 looks good to me, but I'm not an expert. It looks clear, lots going on reflection-wise & less color than the others. It would be my choice if I were buying one of these. Now to hear what the experts have to say.

I like them all. But the strong blue in the 1.7 and the tiny table pushes it to the top of the pile for me. 1.65 is second.

Ask the gemologist which he prefers. Also, get Idealscopes.

I don't think there is a bad choice here though. But I do love that 1.7

Quick follow-up. I understand the the strong blue may make the diamond look whiter in some light which is great. But what about if you are out at a bar for example, or even in certain sunlight...Will the stone look glowingly blue?

Direct sunlight and black lights (at a club for example) will make the stone glow. It's beautiful.

Thanks! While the IdealScopes are all pending I do hope that this stone checks out as I'm starting to like the blue florescence....especially in that it can make my I color stone look whiter! I do feel more comfortable with these stones than the Si2 Signature H&A BG with the dark inclusion. :wavey:

Boy am I growing anxious to see the Idealscopes on these 3 diamonds! Really hoping the gemologist at JA comes back with a great one...especially the 1.7ct :saint: I thought the last stone @ Brian Gavin was perfect until I talked to them further (thankful for their honesty) so hopefully this works out better!

Of course if anyone has comments on the linked stones above or any new contenders, I am always very grateful!

Specs for my RB search are still 1.6ct+, Ideal cut, VS2+, and I color with a $13k budget :wavey:

I thought in a good diamond you wanted no or very little blue.

So if I was looking at a diamond g-h color and it had blue fluorescents that would be ok.Or to save money go with I color?

My choice is #1...love the small table and the strong blue flour. which gives a stone added personality. Just make sure to ask the gemologist about any cloudiness...although from the video I can't see any. I would grab #1!

Take a look at the Brian Gavin BLUES! Most PSr's love strong blue fl.
