I bought a diamond ring and ever since I've been wondering how it compares. I'm unable to source a diamond scope in the UK, no-one seems to sell them - I've looked dam hard.

It sparkles but there is a point just off centre to the right which doesn't.

I've taken a couple of pictures. I'm unsure whether they will tell you much.

To get any feedback you are going to have to supply certification paperwork.

Hi - it's a 0.84ct, G, VS1, Ideal cut, GIA cert.

The dimensions are 56% table, 62.2% depth, 36 degree crown, 40.6 pavilion. 6.01-6.05mm diameter. Excellent symmetry and polish. 3.5% medium to slightly thick girdle. No cutlet. Lower girdle percentage/angle is 80.

Those numbers are fine and the diamond looks great, too! You made a nice choice!

The numbers sound okay to me. Does your GIA paperwork say "Ideal cut," or is that from the vendor you purchased from? :read:

Mate, I think what you wanted to say is "so damn hard." If you're going to use an expletive on a family-friendly message board, try to use the right one, ok?
