Thoughts please about this watch conversion

Me again with another watch conversion.
This one is tricky. The watch still works well and it’s quite a unique piece (and 60 grams of 14kt gold).
But I’ve worn it once in the past 8 years.
So, currently I have removed the watch movement and stuffed the space with small blue sapphires and ? whatevers.
Because it’s actually a solid bangle and domed in shape putting a centre gem in is going to be tricky and expensive. I’m going to have to go with a full bezel setting which will need to be tapered to suit the curvature of the bangle. So maybe $1,200 or so.
I did think about continuing the sapphire pattern but given the setting costs I don’t think the look will be worth the cost (and will look insipid) and getting a bunch of smaller blue sapphires in a similar hue sounds like a pain.
So, I’m thinking of going with a single sizeable centre gemstone.
Please excuse the crap photos, just snaps off my iPad of the three contenders. I would have considered blue zircon as well but prices are even more than lab diamonds.
So I am considering 1. An Aquamarie ($800 ish) 2. A blue Moissanite ($300 ish) and a blue oval lab diamonds ($1,300 ish).
Thoughts ?
Much appreciated.

Just a thought... can you have it filled in with gold and put more stones in? Continue the pattern with small stones. A few larger lab diamonds thrown in might be nice.
