This is one of the best Values I have seen and I am thinking of have sent to an independent appraisor and if it checks out to buy it. The price is 27k and the Jeweler is located in the Diamond district in Miami. I have seen and touched the Stone, and it seemed really nice. I was thinking of sending to Dave Atlas since he seems pretty respected. What is the next step?

Its a GIA Cert Round Brilliant G SI1
Meaurments 9.27 - 9.36 x 5.71
Weight 3.03

Proportions Depth 61.3
Table 57%
Girldle Medium Faceted
Cutlet None
Finish

Polish Excellent
Symmetry Excellent
No Flouresence

Based on the GIA cert and the Polish and Symmetry Ex rating, this sounds like a very good value for your money. To buy this quality of goods in this size and to pay under $ 9,000.00 per carat, is good value. Probably a good idea to have an independent appraiser review the stone and make certain the cert matches the stone. Good luck.

Since your in florida by the sounds of it id use Richard Sherwood or rockdoc for the appraisal and save some bucks on shipping.

I concur with Steve & Storm, and per Storm''s suggestion, you have the additional option of being able, possibly, to sit with them...just remember to be sure they know what you want to know, i.e., how well cut is it. But, yes, seems an unbeatable value, almost regardless of if it''s cut well. But you want that, of course.

So much for that the stone is sold/
