You haven''t seen many yg engraved rings because white metals have been in favor for the last few years and that is also when more antique style settings became popular. Waaaay back when I got married everybody had a round or maybe oval solitaire in a tiffany setting and wore a plain yg band. I know a few people who had wide yg e-rings. But I will tell you that my sister-in-law had a new custom setting made in yg because she is allergic to wg and therefore has a lot of yg jewelry. The engraving in the yg is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt about it. I''m just a little doubtful that the Vatche x-prong can have an oval set e-w, though.
ETA: I have no idea about the cost of Ritani, but I have a feeling I wouldn''t want to pay for the name. It is a beautiful setting, though, and I like it much better than the James Allen setting.
