I would not buy a RB with 'good' cut. The cut is the most important factor in determining the appearance of the diamond and how well it reflects light back to the eye. Also this one is too deep at over 65% and has a smaller diameter than it should for its carat weight.

What is your budget and what are your priorities as far as color/clarity/size? If you are open to shopping online then we can help you find some alternatives. If you would prefer to shop locally then you can use tools like the HCA (pricescope.com/tools/HCA) to find good candidates. Look for GIA Ex and AGS0 diamonds.

ETA I see that this is a 1 carat stone exactly...it was probably cut too deep to get to the 1 carat mark. the diameter is the same size as a well-cut ~0.90 RB and the well-cut 0.90 will be more 'sparkly'

Thank you for your response. Budget is <$5K. I want eye clean and going up to H or I color is fine with me and of course I want the biggest 1CT possible with lots of sparkle and fire.

these are all around 6.05 mm. the one you posted is 6.16 x 6.22 mm, so these are a bit smaller but are all ideal cut.
