Nope, not too deep--the angles are the critical part and you are OK there. The very small culet will not be noticeable in live viewing. The extra facet depends on where it is, but usually are not visible either.

The diamond does look promising, is there a chance of getting an Idealscope image for the stone please?

Hi Lorelei,

Unfortunately, I can''t get an idealscope image. The stone looks great. It has just one little dark crystal inclusion that can be seen from the side. The setting I will be using is a very simple gold setting with a 4 prong top, so there is no way it will be covered.

So I''m undecided at the moment.
