Thoughts on this diamonds depth and HCA

So I''ve been hunting for the right diamond and this diamond caught my eye but I''m worried about it''s depth and HCA score (2.4). Any thoughts on the stone in regards to light performance? Thanks!

This looks like a GREAT find, if eye-clean and if you''re not color sensitive re J. The cut looks incredible and looks very close to one of their ACAs.

I''m not an expert, but my guess based on the crown/pavilion angles is that this diamond will display more colored flashes (ie, be more fiery rather than bright/white). Some people much prefer the fiery look (FIC) to the bright (BIC) look. Actually, I think some PSers may have posted pictures recently of diamonds with similar crown angles (35.x/40.x). You might want to take a look and see if you can find them.

By the way, I would recommend putting a hold on this stone if you haven''t already. It looks very promising and may have exactly the specs that others are looking for.

It looks like a lovely stone, I wouldn't worry about the HCA too much as the diamond doesn't show any leakage on the Idealscope image. It is a little deeper than some prefer, but it wouldn't worry me personally as the diamond is well cut and it appears to be eyeclean for a SI2 - check that is the case if you haven't already done so - get WF to check it out as the grade maker is a cloud. It is highly unlikely to be a problem with the carefully screened WF diamonds, but ask to make sure.

Its a nice stone
