Thoughts on this diamond?

Hello all,

Although I've spent countless hours on this site, this is my first post.

Would appreciate your thoughts on the following diamond:

Shape: round brilliant
Cut: AGS000
Carat: 2.02
Color: G
Clarity: VS2

Depth: 60.6%
Table: 57.2%
Crown Angle: 35.0%
Pavilion Angle: 40.5%
Girdle: thin to medium, faceted
Flour: negligible

Cost: ~$26k

Do you think I should "pull the trigger" or continue to wait (my budget is about $25-$27k for the stone). My girlfriend is set on at least G color and VS2 clarity. She'd like at least a 1.80 carat diamond.

An Idealscope image would be useful if you can request one, but it looks promising. Is the diamond with an online vendor or with a brick and mortar jeweller?

Whiteflash is bringing in the diamond (they didn''t own it) and will be providing me with Sarin, ideal-scope, and aset analysis. I''ll post once I have it (expected Tuesday of Wednesday of this coming week).

Want to get your perspective on this diamond. If you think this is a great diamond, I'll pull the trigger. To recap: it's a 2.01 G VS2 AGS000. Price of ~$26k.

Only you know what is best as to whether you buy now or wait. This appears to be a gorgeous diamond in a very desirable size, and larger goods are in short supply, it could take a while to find another diamond as well cut as this one, with the specs you want.

Honestly, I would pull that trigger - it''s in budget, the right colour and clarity, bigger than hoped for and looks like a gorgeous stone - I really don''t think you can do better than this, and Lorelei''s right, it could take a while for another like this to pop up!
