First, a very big thank you to everyone who has posted their Asscher questions, answers, stories and pictures over the years – I think I have read every one of them and appreciate these stones for all their beauty and complexity. Finally, the time has come for me to buy one of my own and I’d love to know your thoughts on this one:

Thanks in advance!!

I haven't seen it in person (yet), so this is the best that I have:

not that thrilled by the windmill shape and there is a lot of green in the aset.
center brightness need to be looked at in person.
Ask Jon about it.
I colored asscher in that size is likely to show some color have you looked at I colored EC or asschers?

"I" is a little lower in color than I had initially thought I would consider, but I plan to look at this one next to G and H step-cuts to see if I notice any color. So far, I''ve noticed that my eye is not that sensitive to color, which is why I am considering it.
I noticed the windmills also and will see what they look like in person. What is the concern with the green in the aset?

center might or might not be less bright than optimal.
Since you are seeing it in person your eyes will tell you if it is an issue.

From a citizens point of view (who doesn''t notice green in the aset or the I color) I think it looks beautiful. And honestly the only ppl who will notice are the experts.

I'm looking for an Asscher and had a similar green problem with one I was looking at. I'm one of the average citizens and plan to visit a store where I can view it. I hope to see another stone with less green (and more red as I understnad that's better) and be able to compare the two visually. It might help indicate if the average person can really tell a difference.

Even if you can't view that specific stone since it's an online vendor it might help to visit some B&M's and see if you could do some in-person comparisons.
